Music Director Notes

"These are the house sessions for Captain Beefheart + H.H.B.'s most innovative work: Trout Mask Replica. They rehearsed this material for over a year before actualy going into the studio with Frank Zappa, to record the record. Trout Mask Replica would go down in history as one of the most difficult works ever produced. The record is a combination of blues, free-jazz + avantgarde. THis recording documents the production of genius. Awesome."
